Leaders need to recognize that they need to evolve and that this is beneficial and possible. That is the difference between the 2 types of mindset - fixed mindset and growth mindset. People who believe in a fixed mindset believe that our abilities and attributes cannot be changed and this stifles their progress and efforts for change. Carol Dweck coins the term growth mindset which is the opposite belief, that we can grow and evolve during our lifetimes. Agile is a mindset which believes in change and continuous improvement.
