What to do if the sprint ends and the work is not yet done?​


In that case, the quality should not be compromised, neither the sprint length increased. What will happen in this case is that the undone work need to be returned to the backlog and re-prioritized against the rest of the backlog. This situation will also need to be examined during the retrospective and the root cause - which may be overcommitment or bottleneck or not enough refinement and research prior the sprint or another reason - needs to be identified and resolved so that future similar situations are prevented.
